Fig 1: the needle is at the top most position and looper
is holding the old loop.
Fig 2: the needle penetrates the fabric and Looper starts
to move back.
Fig 3: the needle reaches the lowest position. The looper
reaches the back most position thus releasing ……….the old loop.
Fig 4: needle starts to move up and looper starts to move
forward.
Fig 5: the looper catches the new loop.
Fig 6: the needle moves to the top most position and thus
a chain stitch loop is formed.
